A keen wildlifer and a naturalist himself, Harish is from Ramnagar in Uttarakhand. With a career spanning over the management of many wildlife lodges, Harish has recently taken over the reins of Pench Tree Lodge.He is a keen birder and loves to read extensively during his free time. He loves the jungles and has a special knack of operations with a special interest in enhancing the wildlife experiences of the guests.
Gaurav hails from ‘amchi Mumbai’. He left the concrete jungle to follow his passion - wildlife. He is a commerce graduate with a keen interest in wildlife photography. He has worked as a naturalist since past five years and is a new addition in the team. He is a great company on drives and nature walks and can give one excellent tips about wildlife photography.
Amit is from Baihar, which is near Kanha National Park. Having grown up in the periphery of these jungles, he has always loved their quietude. Amit is trained in software and worked in IBM before moving back to the jungles back to the jungles. He currently looks after the accounts and also assists the lodge manager in day-to-day operations. Fond of sports, you can see a smile on his face at the mere mention of the word ‘cricket’.
Pankaj comes from the foothills of Kumaon and has been passionate about food from his childhood. Prior to Pugdundee Safaris, Pankaj was at Sattvik restaurant in Delhi. At Pench, he is responsible for creating menus from locally sourced organic vegetables and working on local recipes.
Himani Singh is a student of our first PRONAT (Professional Naturalist Training Program) batch held in 2018, she is from Jodhpur in Rajasthan.A medical student who chose to pursue her passion for wildlife and join our illustrious naturalist team, Himani has excellent communication skills. Her gentle demanour and patience ensures our guests are taken through the very best of forest experiences.
Balwant Singh from Ramnagar, Corbett is an avid birder who floors our guests with his birding skills. His quest for learning is unstoppable and he believes in sharing his knowledge liberally. An asset to our lodges, Balwant’s ever-smiling nature is the feather in his talented hat.
