HOW TO REACH PENCH TREE LODGE FROM MUMBAI
Nagpur is your gateway to Pench. From Mumbai, you can reach Nagpur by air, rail, or road — and the lodge team can arrange onward transfers from there.

By Air
Fly from Mumbai (BOM) to Nagpur (NAG). The flight takes approximately 1.5 hours, with multiple daily departures on IndiGo, Air India, and SpiceJet. From Nagpur airport, the lodge is roughly 130 km away — a 3–4 hour drive through Seoni. The lodge team can arrange a pickup directly from the airport.
By Rail
Several overnight trains connect Mumbai (CST/LTT) to Nagpur, including the Sevagram Express, Vidarbha Express, and Mumbai–Howrah Mail (12–14 hours). AC 2-tier and 3-tier coaches are comfortable and affordable. You arrive in Nagpur in the morning, ready for the onward drive. Ideal for families and those who prefer a relaxed, scenic journey.
By Road
The drive from Mumbai to Pench is approximately 900–950 km via NH44 (Mumbai → Pune → Nagpur → Seoni), taking 10–12 hours on well-maintained highways. Best started early in the morning. Both self-drive and hired cabs work well. Stock up on fuel and cash at Seoni — the last major town before the lodge.
By Bus / Public Transport
Overnight sleeper buses (MSRTC, Orange Travels, Patel Travels) run from Mumbai to Nagpur in 12–14 hours. From Nagpur bus stand, hire a local cab toward Seoni and Pench. Direct buses to Pench are not available — Nagpur is the last major hub. The most budget-friendly option, though less comfortable than train or flight for this distance.

Safaris are not included in the room tariff but the lodge actively helps you arrange them by coordinating entry permits, jeep allocation, and naturalist guides.
